The ponds in Riverglen are part of the neighborhood stormwater detention / retention system. Storm drains along the streets feed directly into the ponds, so anything that goes into a storm drain directly affects the quality and appearance of the ponds.
The storm drains throughout the entire Riverglen community recently had “dump no waste” placards installed.
This project was completed under the leadership of Ponds Committee Chair, Debbie Helmick, with assistance from Cub Scout Pack 603, Boy Scout Troop 11, and several Riverglen residents.
