I.             Call to Order and Quorum Call: Meeting called to order at 6:32 pm

Directors Present:

Ralph Brown – President, Unit 7

Wrede Kirkpatrick – Vice-President, Unit 1

Larry Barroner – Secretary, Unit 3

II.            Review/Adoption of Minutes: May 21, 2026

MM made by Crissy, 2nd by Kathy to approve the RGHOA monthly meeting minutes as presented.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

III.     Committee and Officer’s Reports

A.   Ponds - Trina Dooley – Ponds are being treated and Aquatic Weed Control continues to provide monthly treatment reports.

 

B.   Parks – Rick Huber – Tentative date for ‘Saturday in the Park’ will be 24 Oct 2026. 

 

C.   Newsletter - Carolyn Austin – Nothing to report

 

D.   Website - Ralph Brown – Site software was antiquated and no longer supported.  That software was deactivated.  New software was updated and the RG site is now functioning.

 

E.   Landscape – Larry Barroner – Continue to receive updates on tasks performed from the Bright View Team Manager (Maria Adams) as well as monthly irrigation reports.  A Quality Site Assessment was received identifying recurring actions that are being performed including jasmine pruning at the front entrance, hard edging the tree wells, bed lines and curbs, weeding flower beds and spot trimming as needed.  Entrance flowers will be changed out in July. Contacted Bright View to see when Palm tree trimming will occur.  Requested to provide Bright View a review on their performance of maintaining our community common areas.

 

F.    Finance/Budget – Kathy Hofstad – Current expenses are in-line with the budget.  Still have several homeowners’ delinquent on the April quarterly assessment.  Concerned as to how many homeowners will be delinquent as the July quarterly assessments dues are approaching in less than two weeks.

 

G.   Riverglen ACC – Ali Houshmand

ACC requests: the committee received (8) requests.

MM by Jennifer, 2nd by Kathy to ratify the ACC approval for items 1-7.  Motion carried unanimously.

MM by Wrede, 2nd by Kathy to ratify the ACC disapproval for item 8.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

First Letters: (2) MM by Wrede, 2nd by Larry to accept the recommendation of the ACC for first letters.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Second Letters: (5) MM by Kathy, 2nd. by Wrede to accept the recommendation of the ACC for second letters.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Attorney Letters (1) MM by Wrede, 2nd. by Crissy to resend the second letter.  Motion carried unanimously.

V.        Old Business

 

A.    Wall Repair at Donneymor and Sunnyoak – On-hold awaiting on estimates.  Recommended board members look at the wall to provide any reaccommodation’s on how the board should proceed, including possible removal.

 

B.   Pond 9 Access Issue – Riverwatch will request attorney to respond to the homeowner’s attorney letter

 

C.   ACC Standards Update – Will hold a special meeting to discuss recommended changes

 

VI. New Business

 

A.   Pine Tree Removal – MM by Wrede, 2nd by Jennifer to approve the Bright View proposal #1339158 for $425.00 to remove the dead pine tree.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

       VII.    Homeowner Concerns – Pond 4 dead cat-tail plants and what the Pond

                 maintenance crew was responsible to perform – clarifying information was provided
