The following resolution was proposed at the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of Riverglen of Brandon Homeowners Association, Inc. on Aug 21, 2008 and adopted by majority vote of the Board of Directors at the Sep 17, 2008 meeting.

HOUSE PAINTING COLORS/COMBINATIONS

Pursuant to the license, power and authority granted to it by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Easements of the various Units of Riverglen to: “from time to time…adopt, alter, amend, rescind and enforce reasonable rules and regulations governing the use of the Lots, Common Area, or any combination thereof, which rules and regulations shall be consistent with the rights and duties established by the Declaration”, the Board of Directors adopts, enacts and promulgates the following amendment to the Association’s ACC Standards:

RESOLVED:

Paragraph 7 PAINT, SHINGLES AND ALL OTHER IMPROVEMENTS of the Riverglen of Brandon Homeowners Association, Inc.’s ACC Standards is amended as follows to comply with Florida Statutes Chapter 720.3035:

  1. The color palette published by the Riverglen ACC containing forty-five (45) tri-color combinations for body, trim and accent (door) is adopted as the listing of approved tri-color combinations for houses and other out-buildings/sheds within the jurisdiction of the Riverglen of Brandon Homeowners Association, Inc., specifically Units 1, 2, 3 and 4 (not including Units 5, 6 and 7- River Watch.)  The colors specified for body, trim and accent are not interchangeable with different combinations or within a single combination.

  1. If a homeowner submits an ACC request for exterior painting that reflects one of the authorized color combinations mentioned in the color palette, approval by the Architectural Control Committee shall not be denied or withheld.

  1. The authorized color combinations may be amended from time to time by the Board of Directors to include additions, deletions, or modifications.

  1. The listed manufacturers are not the required vendor/supplier of proposed paint. However, to be considered an authorized color/combination, any paint proposed/applied must be identical in color and quality to that set forth in the color palette referenced above.

This amendment shall be promulgated and noticed to all homeowners of record by regular mail.
