The Southwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board voted to extend the Modified Phase 3 “Extreme” Water Shortage restrictions until Oct 1 2026. The order requires all residents in Hillsborough County, including those on private wells, to follow one-day-per-week watering restrictions, with reduced watering hours. The restrictions also limit pressure washing and fountain use.
Residents should know their lawn watering days and hours to avoid getting a fine.
